About Me
I am very excited for this year. I have planned many activities for the school year with each student in mind. I love teaching, I come from a family that values education. My dad is a retired elementary school principal. My husband is also a principal at a school for troubled youth.
I have four children, two boys and two girls. The youngest is the only one left at home. The rest of my children are married and each of them have kids of their own, which makes me a grandma of six! We get together often for food and fun.
In my spare time I can be found reading a good book and enjoying nature. My favorite genre is historical fiction. I also love going to musicals and plays or spending an evening watching Hallmark Channel Movies. I am currently working on publishing a children's book.
Every year my students' become like my own! I am interested in knowing you and finding out what your interests are both in the classroom and out! I look forward to getting to know you.

Educational Goals
I want every child in my class to succeed. Each student is
an individual with different learning needs and styles.
I will provide a safe and engaging learning environment for
everyone. I have chosen the theme Team Builders this year.
A class is like a team. We have to all work together and put
in our best effort to achieve. We will be doing many cooperative
activities to help us with our team spirit.
